Summer research programs

Each year, the Case Alumni Association helps fund approximately 30 student awards of up to $3,500 each for undergraduate students enrolled in the following summer research programs: Support of Undergraduate Research and Creative Endeavors (SOURCE) and Summer Undergraduate Research in Energy and Sustainability (SURES). These programs provide students the opportunity for cross-disciplinary collaboration and the ability to see the breadth of research across the campus.

This is an extraordinary opportunity for undergraduate students to experience real-world research practices relevant to a variety of professional fields. Students do hands-on work in labs across campus and throughout University Circle, working closely with graduate students and professors on projects most undergraduates typically wouldn’t experience until pursuing higher degrees or working in professional research teams.
