Engineers' Society of Western Pennsylvania '09
Dean Norman Tien gave a presentation on the new research and educational ventures the Case School of Engineering plans on attaining over the next couple years. Many guests felt inspired after listening to the Dean. Everyone had a chance to stand up and speak about their time at Case and also what their Case education meant to them. As seen by this event, it is amazing how far a Case degree can take you. Many alum are eager for the next event in Pittsburgh.
The Fine Art of Structural Performance
CWRU prospective students and alumni embarked upon The Grand Concourse on Tuesday, September 23rd. The Case Alumni Association in collaboration with CWRU-Admissions and CWRU-Alumni Relations welcomed new and old faces to this historic hot spot in Union Station. Everyone enjoyed Dr. Art Huckelbridge ’ s presentation on the structural performance of bridges. One alum commented that maybe Art’s last name had something to do with his career choice (HuckelBRIDGE).
