A Peek into the Cleveland Indians Training Facility
Goodyear, Arizona had a greater ‘Cleveland’ feeling to it when the CAA hosted the Case Club of Phoenix at the Cleveland Indians Training Facility on December 2nd, 2008. Still under construction, the guests received a ‘behind the scenes’ hard hat tour of the facilities. The alumni were joined by Cleveland Indians second baseman, Josh Barfield. The practice field is well under way and is expected to be finished by December 16th, 2008. After the exciting tour everybody headed into downtown Phoenix to Coach & Willies where Dr. Gary Wnek discussed the Strategic Plan of the University, then of the School of Engineering, TiME, MEM, and the IDEA Center. All were very intrigued.
