The CAA Junior Senior Scholarship Program is a long standing tradition that awards scholarships to deserving Case students based on merit, need, and personal skills. Awards are made possible by the generous donations of alumni,
many of whom received this very same scholarship as students at Case.
Approximately 150 new scholarships are awarded each year!
Qualifications for the CAA Junior Senior Scholarship:
Rising Sophomores and Juniors
Pursuing a B.S. in math, engineering, or the applied sciences
American Citizen
Not receiving a Smith-Treuhaft Scholarship or a full tuition waiver
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher*
Nominated by faculty and advisors
*In certain circumstances, students with a GPA slightly below a 3.0 but with a very high financial need are also eligible to apply.
Scholarship Process:

Call Delia on M, T, and W February 15, 16, and 17, 2010 between 9am and 5pm at 216-231-4567 x2232 to schedule a 10 minute interview.
Students will be interviewed by a panel of alumni at the CAA office. This is a very rewarding experience for our alumni. Awards are computed by assessing each student’s financial need, their interview score, and their cumulative GPA. Complete the process to receive one of the approximately 150 new scholarships that are awarded each year!
Once awarded
Sophomore scholarship
recipients are entitled to receive the Junior/Senior Scholarship for a total of four semesters, while taking at least 12 credit hours of undergraduate coursework per semester on the Case Western Reserve University campus. A renewal process is required to receive the final two semesters.
Junior scholarship
recipients are entitled to receive the Junior/Senior Scholarship for a total of two semesters while taking at least 12 credit hours of undergraduate coursework per semester on the Case Western Reserve University campus.
Second Nominations
Students can only be nominated and interviewed for this scholarship once. A second nomination is an honor, but will not change the amount of an award.
